Barbara Ilse Petzold Horna is a cultural anthropologist and artist. She grew up in Lima, Peru and studied Ethnology, Political Science and Hispanic Philology at the University of Bonn. She wrote her Master’s thesis on culinary culture. Barbara Ilse has worked as a lecturer at the University of Bonn and is a freelance artist and lecturer in Sao Paulo today.
